This past weekend was one of the best in a long time. Moose and Cody came from Omaha and Silas came from Grand Island, then John, Patti, Brittany, and myself all went Playmakers to see the Kris Lager Band, and Kris totally hit on me by the way, but I think I made it pretty obvious I was not interested in the way I grabbed Drake by the shirt and pulled him next to me while we spoke. I had so much fun, I miss these guys, and it sucks that Silas is in Grand Island. The evening was a little weird at first but I didn't say anything of course - it was just weird having everyone together except Adam, even though Silas did say something at Jimmy Aces how it had been a long time since we were all together like that. Drake fit in very nicely, which was good. I knew it would be kind of weird for the guys to see me with someone knew, since Adam is the only person they have ever known me with. But they all got along right away and were quoting Chappelle show together and being silly boys. By the end of the night when the show was ending, Moose, Silas and Drake were all by the stage with their pitchers of beer, drunkenly having a good time. That was important to me that this happen, because these guys mean the world to me and so does Drake and I want all my people to mesh. I know not all my people will mesh all the time, but this evening was particularly important and everyone was great. I wish we could have more nights like that one, because it was awesome.
Teetz comes back from Grand Forks tonight and I am going to pick him up at the airport. Oh, and speaking of Teetz, WE ARE GOING TO SEE GAVIN DEGRAW AND HOWIE DAY IN FOUR FREAKING DAYS!!!!!!!
